There are two tables below showing the one deck blackjack strategy, the first the dealer stands on a soft 17 and the second the dealer hits. The tables have some combinations removed to make it simpler to use this blackjack strategy. It’s obvious what to do on these combinations hit if its low (8-) stand if it’s high (18+).
The other thing to note is that there are some rules which vary between the different varieties of blackjack, such as surrendering, double after split etc. Instead of creating a new blackjack strategy table for the dozens of combinations these situations have ‘if you can..’ conditions. For example “H/R Surrender if allowed, otherwise hit”, simple means in a game you can surrender, do so, and else hit in other variations.
You will see both of these strategy cards listed on the sidebar to the left. Even though both are clearly listed, you will find that the first single deck blackjack card is for tables where the dealer will Stand on Soft 17.
The second single deck strategy card is to be used when you are playing at a table where the dealer will Hit on Soft 17.
Before we get onto the single deck blackjack games below, I would like to help decode these Blackjack Cards. These cards have a few more variations than some of the other ones that I have done. This is because Single Deck Blackjack usually has the most slight rule variations that can make you decision different.
The basic Hit, Stand and Double Down don’t need any extra explanation. From there, you will see a couple of D/S in the table. This means that you should Double or Stand if you are not allowed to double.
There are four different colors that have Spi for Split. The Green background is simply a split with no other decisions. The Light Blue split means that you should Split if you can Double after a Split; otherwise you should Hit.
There are a couple of Pink Splits on the table; you should Split if you can double after splitting. However, you should Double Down if you aren’t allowed.
The White Split indicates that you should Split if you can double after splitting; if not, you should Stand. The only time that this is applicable is when you have two 9’s.
The other three options have to do with whether or not you are allowed to Surrender. The first is the traditional Surrender which is labeled H/R. If Surrender is not allowed, you should Hit.
S/R means Stand or Surrender. You should only Surrender instead of Stand when you have a total of 17 against an Ace. This is because the average winning hand overall is 18.5.
The final one is P/R which means Surrender or Split if unable to. I don’t recommend doing this, but the only time you should consider this is when you have two 8’s and have the opportunity to surrender.

Dealer Hits on Soft 17
I have also found a second single deck blackjack game. In this version, the dealer will Hit on Soft 17. You will want to use the second blackjack strategy card when you are making your decisions.
I’ve tried to do my best to line up the games with the blackjack cards to the left. This way you don’t have to scroll a lot when you are playing.
